Hark Up is celebrating its 20th year providing West Michigan with music, community, and high caliber Christmas productions. Over the past 20 years, with our Christmas shows alone, we have performed and shared the story of Christ’s Birth to over 80,000 people. Originating at Fair Haven Church in 1999 and eventually moving to our current home, the DeVos Center for Arts and Worship, we are blessed to continue this tradition. This would not have been possible without the many, many volunteers who have selflessly given their time, energy, and passions to these productions. From singing and dancing to playing an instrument or acting in a scene, from selling merchandise and ushering to building the set and running the lights, our volunteers are the heart of who we are. Over the years the number of participants in the Christmas Show has steadily grown, with Christmas 2018 exceeding 300 volunteers! This means that over the past 20 years nearly 4000 people have been a part of this vibrant Hark Up Christmas Show Community. For the 2019 Hark Up Christmas 20th Anniversary Show we would love to have as many alumni as possible join us on stage during the powerful finale.

We are the body of Christ. Romans 12: 4- 6 says, “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” One of the greatest examples we have experienced of this is Christ bringing us together to form the Hark Up Community. To celebrate our 20th year we are inviting all Hark Up Alum to come and join us for this special 20th anniversary show.
