The Hark Up Choir sings…

The Hark Up Choir is a community of people that enjoys being together to sing, laugh and fellowship with one another. What makes Hark Up special is the genuine friendships and community you’ll find here. The Hark Up Choir is open to all teens and adults. There is no audition and you do not have to be able to read music to sing but some choral experience would be helpful.

The Hark Up Choir performs a diverse repertoire that includes popular, contemporary Christian and patriotic tunes along with worship choruses and traditional hymns. We perform with a full rhythm section and horns

Performance opportunities abound including a full Spring Concert in late April or early May. Summer performances include worship, patriotic, special needs, and community concerts. Our Christmas show is the big one! Christmas is a full production with soloists, dancers, big band and orchestra, video and more. Rehearsals begin in October on Monday nights with an optional Tuesday night rehearsal if you cannot attend on Mondays. We perform five shows the weekend following Thanksgiving weekend.

The choir rehearses Mondays at 7pm at the Hark Up Loft which is located at 800 Monroe, Suite 322, Grand Rapids. Rehearsals are usually 90 minutes with two hour rehearsals common for the Christmas production.
